Inside Recess
When measuring the inside recess please ensure you measure in several places, particularly at the top.
Measure the drop in several places.
We will make the necessary allowances for fittings.
It is essential to measure the smallest width and drop and be aware of any obstacles such as tiles, picture frames etc.
We also offer a FREE at home or place of work consultation service.
Outside recess
If you would prefer your blinds to hang outside your window recess you need to decide the size you prefer. It is suggested a blind should project at least 75mm (3") past the whole of the recess.
Measure and record the width and drop not forgetting to allow extra as stated above.

For complete accuracy it is essential that all measurements are taken using a steel tape or rule. We will use your measurements to enable us to supply your quote however if the sizes differ from the ones you have given us when we measure them the price will be that of the next larger blind. Prices include all necessary fixing brackets AND child safety devices.
N.B. For roller blinds only it is essential that you understand the blind fabric will be approx 35mm narrower than the recess width to allow for the operating mechanism.
